Modesta glass coating
Japanese glass coating built in layers. A primer bonds to the paint, then every layer is infrared cured panel by panel into a dense glass shell. Slower to apply, and the depth has to be seen in person.

How much does ceramic coating cost in Adelaide?
Undrdog HCC starts from $1,700 inc GST for the full exterior: paint, glass, plastics and rubber seals. Modesta coating starts from $1,100 for BC-08 through to $3,300 for Private Label, plus prep and paint correction, which depend on the condition of the paint. Modesta is applied over a primer and infrared cured layer by layer, so it takes longer. Every car is quoted individually once we've seen it.

HCC suits daily drivers that need solid protection across every surface without a maintenance routine. Modesta is for enthusiasts who want the best finish available and will look after it. Tell us how you use the car and we'll tell you honestly.
Do I need paint correction first?
An enhancement polish is the minimum on every job. A coating seals in whatever is underneath, so swirls left on are there for good. We assess the paint under lighting at drop-off and tell you what it actually needs.
How long does it last?
Undrdog HCC is rated for 5 or more years. Modesta ranges from 3 to 10 years depending on product and maintenance. Both are hand wash only. No automatic car washes.
How long will you have my car?
Depends on the paint and the product. We'll give you a firm drop-off and pick-up time when we quote.
Are you really the only Modesta installer in SA?
Yes. Accreditation meant training interstate and in Tokyo, and Modesta deliberately keeps its network small. If you want Modesta in South Australia, this is where it's done.
