That is what Modesta does. Adelaide's only accredited installer.
"Fabulous service from start to finish." Helpful, friendly, honest advice. Thomas and his team are passionate about their work and it definitely shows in the end result. True value for money.
"Could have sold me a lot more but recommended what was genuinely right for the car." Thomas was great. Explained everything well and told me what he thought I needed and didn't need.
"The PPF is very seamless and all the scratches that were on my car before are gone." I was a bit scared at first to leave my brand new car with someone but Tom made me feel very comfortable.
"The details and all the hard to reach spots are perfect." Ceramic coating on new wheels. They even coated the stickers on the wheel. Could not be happier with the result.
"Amazing attention to detail, and the best after sales service." Had a competitor's ceramic coating removed after 10 months and PPF applied instead. Could not be happier.
"You can tell he genuinely cares about delivering the best possible outcome." Professional and meticulous from start to finish. Guided through the options, determined the right product.

BC-06 is a ceramic coating engineered specifically for wheels, brake calipers and high-temperature surfaces. Most coatings fail under sustained brake heat. BC-06 is rated to 1,300 degrees Celsius. For context,, carbon-ceramic brake discs on a hard track stop reach around 900 degrees. BC-06 handles that with room to spare. This is the full process on a brand new DB12.
A ceramic coating is only as good as the surface it goes on. Most detailers rush or skip this stage because it is the most time-consuming and least visible part of the job. We do not. Every single step below happens on every single car before any coating is applied.
The vehicle is rinsed first to remove loose contamination, then contact washed panel by panel using a dedicated wash mitt and pH-balanced shampoo. Two buckets, grit guards, clean mitts. This is not a garden hose and a sponge situation.
Snow foam pre-soak loosens surface contamination before any physical contact. The car is never touched dry. Pressure washing alone is not a wash.
Washing removes surface dirt. Decontamination removes what washing cannot touch. Iron fallout remover dissolves embedded brake dust particles that have bonded to the paint. Tar and glue remover strips road tar, adhesive residue and industrial contamination. The paint is then clayed to remove any remaining above-surface bonded contamination.
Tar remover, fallout remover, clay bar. Each product targets a specific type of contamination the others cannot touch. Skipping any one of them leaves invisible contamination that will telegraph through the coating.
Polishing refines the paint surface by removing micro-scratches, swirl marks and oxidation through controlled abrasion. The result is a surface that reflects light cleanly rather than scattering it. This is what creates depth and gloss. A coating applied over an unpolished surface seals in every imperfection. They are there forever.
Enhancement polish as a minimum on every job. Full single-stage or multi-stage correction where the paint demands it. Wet sanding for deeper scratches and denibbing on classics. Paint is assessed under high-intensity lighting at multiple angles before anything begins.
This is the step most detailers skip because it is the most time-consuming and the most costly. Every trace of polish residue, oils, silicone and surface contamination must be removed before a coating can bond properly. It is also the least visible step, which is exactly why corners get cut here.
The process runs in four stages. First, a professional-grade rinseless prep wash is worked across every panel using high-quality microfibre. Unlike regular soap which leaves behind surfactant residue, a true rinseless prep wash uses smart polymer technology to encapsulate and lift contamination from the surface completely, leaving nothing behind that could interfere with coating adhesion. Second, a solvent-based surface cleaner cuts through any remaining oils, silicone and wax contamination that the rinseless wash cannot reach. Third, a full wipe-down with demineralised water removes mineral deposits and water-soluble residues. Fourth, a final pass with 99% isopropyl alcohol gives a clinically bare surface with zero residue. At this point the paint is cleaner than it has ever been. That is when the coating goes on.
Most detailing shops run one coating across every car that comes through the door. It is great for margins. It is great for training junior staff. It is terrible for the customer whose car deserved something different.
We carry coatings that each have their own chemistry, their own installation method and their own use case. Get it wrong and you have wasted expensive product, wasted time, and potentially caused irreversible damage to a customer's vehicle. That is a risk we take seriously.
An older classic muscle car that gets garaged and babied calls for Modesta BC-08. That deep gloss monster finish with a coating that matches how carefully the car is treated. A BMW M5 in a dark colour gets BC-04. A lighter paint benefits from BC-05 and its three-dimensional candy gloss. A BYD Shark doing 30,000 kilometres a year gets Undrdog HCC. Complete protection across every surface, realistic expectations, minimal maintenance. And a Rolls Royce? That conversation starts and ends with Modesta Private Label. We carry every one of these products because each one exists for a reason. The car in front of us tells us which one belongs on it.

The Bend is a world class motorsport destination on the international racing circuit. When they needed a McLaren and a Ferrari detailed for the showroom floor, they called us. Both cars brought to full show condition. Delivered on time.

We carry a range because one product does not cover every situation. We are South Australia's only Modesta accredited installer. That is not a marketing line. It required serious investment in training and ongoing commitment to the standard they hold us to.

Ceramic seals whatever is underneath in glass for years. If the paint has swirl marks before the coating, they are there forever after. We look at the paint first. Always. The preparation section above is not marketing copy. It is what actually happens on every car.

Daily driver or weekend car, exotic or enthusiast. The right product comes from your situation. Daniel Michael's review says it better than we ever could. We could have sold him more and chose not to.

Seven years in Adelaide. The reviews are not farmed and not filtered. People write them because they mean it. Go read them and make up your own mind.

Your car use is different to everyone else's. So why would you have the same coating? The right product for your situation will last longer and work harder. That is money better spent.
