Template-fit is a great example of efficiency and cost-effectiveness. Using subscription software, the film is plotted to match the panel shape, then carefully ‘weeded’ on a table and applied after thorough surface preparation. This eliminates the need to cut the film directly on the vehicle.

However, templates have limitations. A custom or ‘hybrid’ installation takes the template as a starting point but extends the edges beyond the panel shape. This allows for hidden seams, and in some cases, a completely seamless finish. The result is a visually flawless installation where the human eye struggles to see where the film begins and ends. While this approach costs more, the visual result is far more satisfying.
